The Eaton Industries Xpole is a combined diverter for energy technology designed for a variety of network forms including TN, TN-C, TN-C-S, TN-S and others. It has three poles and can withstand a lightning surge (10/350) of 12.5kA. It operates at a maximum continuous AC voltage of 280V and a nominal AC voltage of 280V. It maintains a safety level of 1.5kV and a L-PE safety level of 1.5kV. It is ideal for protecting consumer systems from transient overvoltages caused by both direct and indirect lightning strikes and switching operations. This device is in accordance with IEC 60364-5-53 section 534, iI per IEC 61643-1, and is a SPD-type T1, T2 as per EN 61643-11. It also meets lightning protection classes III and IV as per IEC 62305. It is a type without remote signaling.
