The Eaton Industries Xpole combined diverter energy tech is used for protecting consumer systems against transient overvoltages caused by direct and indirect lightning strikes and switching operations. Compatible with networks TN, TN-S and other types, it uses a 1-pole system, with a lightning surge (10/350) of 12.5kA. It has a maximum continuous voltage of AC 280V, nominal voltage of AC 280V, and a safety level of 1.5kV including L-PE. The device can also max out on overcurrent protection, with a seriesc of 160A. It operates in accordance with IEC 60364-5-53 section 534, IEC 61643-1, SPD-type T1, T2 according to EN 61643-11, and suits lightning protection classes III and IV as per IEC 62305.
