The Eaton Industries Xpole combined energy tech arrester, applicable for TN, TN-S, TT, and other network forms, comes with 2 poles and provides protection against lightning surge currents (10/350) up to 12.5kA. Guarding consumer systems against transient overvoltages caused by both direct and indirect lightning strikes and switching operations, the arrester is intended for use as per the IEC 60364-5-53 Section 534 and IEC 61643-1 guidelines. Additionally, it can be used as a surge protective device (SPD) of types T1 and T2 as per EN 61643-11. It features operation for lightning protection classes III and IV according to IEC 62305 and includes remote signaling capabilities. The maximum continuous voltage is AC 280V, and the nominal voltage is also AC 280V, with safety levels of L-N 1.5kV and N-PE 1.5kV respectively.
