The Eaton Industries XComfort surge protector operates at a business voltage of 230V at AC 50 Hz and AC 60 Hz and is part of the X comfort series. This surge protector is recommended for use in conjunction with fluorescent lamps to limit voltage peaks caused by inbuilt inductances when switching off. It is also suggested for use with low power, non-dimmable LED lamps to prevent flickering or glowing in the OFF state with the xComfort dimming actuators (CDAU-01/02, CDAU-01/03, CDAE-01/02, CDAE-01/03). An RC-unit is attached between L and N in each lamp or parallel to the lamp. However, the RC units don't replace traditional over-voltage protection.
