Belimo Characterized Valve G2-3/4 Kvs40 100-240VAC Fail-Safe NO 90s 3-point 10Nm IP54 SPDT R449/NRF230A-3-S2-O
This is a 2-way characterized Belimo ball valve with a nickel-plated brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 50 and the port size is G 2 3/4 inch with male threads. With its integrated characterizing disc, it ensures equal percentage flow control, enabling precise and consistent regulation of fluid flow. The maximum pressure differential is 2 bar (29 psi). The valve can operate between 6 and 100 °C (43 to 212 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 40 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 46.28 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 100-240 V AC. The actuator features three-point (open-close) control. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 90 seconds. The actuator has an IP54 rating. The actuator is equipped with a fail-safe (NO) feature that ensures safe operation in the event of a power failure.

Description
The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. The valve can be manually operated and secured in any position using a hand crank. Unlocking can be done manually or automatically by applying the operating voltage. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The actuator simultaneously moves the valve to the operating position and tensions the return spring. If the power source is cut off, the valve reverts to the fail-safe position driven by the spring force. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops.
Pros:
- The integrated characterized disc ensures equal percentage flow, ideal for heating circuits
- The actuator is equipped with a fail-safe feature
