This motion detector from the COMPACT series from ESYLUX is a presence sensor that responds to light and heat sources, with a 360° detection angle, a range of approximately 11/24 meters (frontal/cross). Perfect for classrooms, offices, meeting rooms and transit areas with natural light. The motion detector is only suitable for ceiling mounting (optimally at a height of 3 meters, maximum 10 meters). The higher you hang the motion detector, the greater the range, only the sensitivity also decreases. The detector is suitable for controlling two independent lighting zones.

Description
Presence detector with 360° field of detection for ceiling mounting. Range is up to 24m in diameter at a recommended installation height of 3m. It is designed for the independent control of two lighting areas, window and internal areas, depending on presence and natural light. There is an additional HVAC switch contact (channel 3) designed for switching an additional light source or controlling heating, ventilation, and air conditioning based on presence.
Both a light channel and an HVAC contact featuring a 16 A high-performance relay (tungsten pre-contact) are present, which are ideal for switching capacitive loads such as:
- Electronic ballasts
- Parallel-compensated fluorescent lamps
- Compact fluorescent lamps
- Energy-saving lamps
This device is ideal for use in areas with ceilings of up to 10m, such as sports halls and warehouses. Default settings ensure immediate operability. It has simple programming options using remote control with blue mode technology or setting elements. It also has an integrated toggle for setting with remote control or by adjusting the controller, which prevents operating errors and provides tamper protection. It also allows for the masking of interference sources by reducing sensitivity using DIP switches.
There is an additional switch input per channel with a toggle function, "room = ON + OFF/hallway = ON". The detector can be used as a fully automatic or semi-automatic device. It comes as a standard flush-mounted device. The field of detection can be extended by connecting slave devices. It also allows for targeted masking out of areas by means of an enclosed lens mask.
