This MD-W series motion detector from ESYLUX features an infrared sensor with a 200° detection angle and a range of approximately 12 meters (at a mounting height of 2.5 meters). The sensor is 2 x 200° individually adjustable so you can set the recording area as you wish. The motion detector monitors surfaces up to 175m². When the wall motion detector detects moving heat sources in the detection area it switches on the connected consumer (outdoor lighting) for an adjustable period of time based on the set light value.

Description
Motion detector with a 200° field of detection in a modern design. It has covering cap accessories for a colourful look. This device features a 16 A high-performance relay (tungsten pre-contact), which is ideal for switching capacitive loads such as electronic ballasts, parallel-compensated fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, and energy saving lamps. The default settings ensure immediate operability. The device can be programmed by remote control, allowing for continuous lighting ON/OFF and automatic storage of the current light value. It offers a one-hand plug-base installation and is compatible with many European installation boxes (60 mm screw spacing).
It also features a double diaphragm line entry and entry fitting which can optionally be from the top, bottom, or rear. A white spacer for surface cable feed is included, along with a plug-in terminal for through-wiring of the protective conductor. The sensor range adjustment is equipped with an adjustable internal lens cover. Concealed setting elements prevent unintentional parameter adjustment. This device is suitable for wall mounting and individual areas can be masked using the provided covering cap, which can be customised.
