ESYLUX Standard Motion Switch (Complete) - EM10425103
This motion detector from the STANDARD series from ESYLUX is a presence detector that responds to light and heat sources, with a 360° detection angle, a range of approximately 8/24 meters (frontal/cross). Perfect for classrooms, offices, meeting rooms and transit areas with natural light. The motion detector is only suitable for ceiling mounting (optimally at a height of 3 meters, maximum 10 meters). Description
The text describes a presence detector with a 360° field of detection suitable for ceiling mounting. This device can detect presence up to a range of 24 m and is ideal for use in offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, and hallways with little or no natural lighting. It's also perfect for areas with ceilings of up to 10 m, such as sports halls and warehouses.
This device comes with a 16 A high-performance relay (tungsten pre-contact), making it ideal for switching capacitive loads like:
- Electronic ballasts
- Parallel-compensated fluorescent lamps
- Compact fluorescent lamps
- Energy-saving lamps
It offers automatic light control based on presence and daylight.
In addition to lighting control, the presence detector features an additional "HVAC" switch contact that can control heating, ventilation, and air conditioning depending on presence. It can be programmed by remote control for functions like continuous lighting ON/OFF and automatic storage of the current light value to prevent operating errors.
The device comes as a flush-mounted standard. It features a universal surface-mounted box IP 54 with a double diaphragm line entrance. It also includes double plug-in terminals for through-wiring. This modular system comprises a power box and a plug-in sensor. Once the painting work is complete, the sensor can be simply plugged into the power box, offering large wiring space due to the low overall height of the power box.
The device comes with default settings ensuring immediate operation. It also offers additional switch input for individual manual lighting control. The presence detector can be used as a fully automatic or semi-automatic device. Moreover, the field of detection can be extended by connecting a "slave" presence detector. It also features concealed setting elements to prevent unintentional parameter adjustments. The detector has an in-built impulse feature for controlling automatic stairwell lights or control devices. It is suitable for use in facility management/PLC.
