The Esylux Protector smoke detector operates on the optical principle and has a sound intensity of 85dB(A). The unit features a test button and pause button, surface-mounted independent design, and standard wireless interconnectivity, with optional wireless connectivity available. The maximum number of linkable devices is 30, and the primary power supply is via a battery or accumulator. The wireless set includes the PROTECTOR KRF TCV 2G wireless transceiver and PROTECTOR K 9 V Lithium smoke detector, which are capable of interconnecting with up to 30 detectors in 8 groups. The system can forward alarm signals within the wireless transceiver group within the range of the source, and displays alarm and battery malfunction on PROTECTOR's control panel. Both the smoke detector and transceiver are powered by the same battery. The whole system is compatible with the PROTECTOR RF IO-module.
