Description
Specifications

Steel hydraulic coupling plug with 22 mm L (light) cutting ring. They are typically used for liquid lines to quickly connect and disconnect secure connections.

The 22 mm L (light) cutting ring connection allows it to securely connect pipes together without soldering. The maximum operating pressure is 160 bar (2320 psi). The coupling is suitable for temperatures between -20 to 100 °C (-4 to 212 °F). The steel housing has a galvanic zink plated surface protection. The coupling complies with the ISO 14540 and DIN EN ISO 8434-1 (DIN 2353) standard.

The connection of the coupling sleeve and coupling plug is carried out via a screw connection with a hand nut. It locks together when connected. When uncoupling the valves, the valves close before the coupling halves separate. Therefore an air inlet in the pipelines is prevented. The coupling and uncoupling is done almost without oil leaks. Can be coupled manually up to 20 bar under pressure (with tools even higher coupling pressures possible).

Pros:

  • When coupling, no air is allowed into the system so it doesn't require venting.
  • Connection of pipelines without oil leaks
  • It can withstand full operating pressure when de-coupled
  • Adheres to ISO 14540 and DIN EN ISO 8434-1 (DIN 2353) worldwide standard
