Brass DN 120 (5 inch) Camlock coupling socket with R 5 inch male thread. This coupling is a Type B coupling (socket with male threaded end). The maximum operating pressure is 5 bar (73 psi). The coupling is suitable for temperatures between -10 to 80 °C (14 to 176 °F). It has an NBR (nitrile rubber) seal. The coupling adheres to the MIL-C-27487 standard.

The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or adapter (male part). To connect the Camlock coupling, insert the plug (adapter) into the socket and press the levers down. To disconnect, lift both levers and pull out the plug.

Pros:

  • Full bore with minimal pressure loss
  • Suitable for solids, since there are no internal valves
  • The coupling adheres to the MIL-C-27487 standard
  • It has safety cotter pins to prevent accidental decoupling
