Description
This 2-way ball valve from Tameson with a nominal diameter of 28 mm and a 0.5 mm mesh is designed for media filtering and on/off flow control.
The valve has G 1-1/4 inch threaded ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel. With our range of 1-1/4 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe.
The housing of the valve is made of nickel-plated brass, the ball is made of brass and the seals are made of PTFE/FKM. The valve is suitable for a wide variety of media, such as water (no steam), neutral, gaseous and non-aggressive, liquid media, mineral oils and compressed air up to a maximum pressure of 20 bar (290 psi) The valve can be used within a temperature range from -20 to 100 °C (-4 to 212 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. This valve is not suitable for electrical or pneumatic control.
