This G 1/2" BSP female angle seat valve provides reliable manual shut-off and flow adjustment via a handwheel. The stainless steel 316 body with PTFE stem and seat seal handles water, oils, and compressed air. The Y-shaped body design gives lower flow restriction: higher Kv value and lower pressure drop than standard globe valves. PN 40 rated with corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel; suited to demanding industrial applications. Assembly uses only silicone-free seals and lubricants; safe for paint lines and silicone-sensitive processes. Rated to 40 bar at 20 °C, temperature range -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F). The pressure rating decreases at elevated temperatures.

Pros:

  • Ergonomic handwheel; slow closing prevents water hammer.
  • Stainless steel 316 body; corrosion resistant.
  • PTFE seat and stem seal; wide operating temperature range.
  • Silicone-free assembly; safe for paint systems and silicone-sensitive processes.

Cons:

  • Requires multiple turns to open or close; slower than a ball valve.
  • No visual open/closed indicator unlike a ball valve.
