Description
Bürkert 2/2-way pneumatic globe valve (type 2012) with G 2'' female threaded ports. The valve has a stainless steel housing with PTFE sealing and an orifice size of 50 mm. The control function of the valve is normally open (NO), which means the valve closes when air is applied. Suitable for a media temperatures from -10 to 185°C (14 to 365°F) at a pressure of to 25 bar (0 to 351 psi). The valve has a Kv-value of 45 m3/h (Cv-value of 52.0 gpm). The stainless steel housing is durable, suitable for corrosive media and harsh environments. The PTFE sealing is resistant to almost all chemicals. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium.
Pros:
- High flow capacity and used for demanding applications
- Easily mount a compact Burkert 8697 position feedback and control unit on the actuator (not included)
- Versions that close against the flow direction are suited for liquids, steam and gasses
Series:
The Bürkert type 2012 2/2-way globe valve is a pneumatically actuated on/off valve. The CLASSIC pneumatically operated piston actuator is available in PA, or PPS for higher ambient temperatures. The valve body has been optimized for excellent flow properties and is equipped with a self-adjusting packing gland for added tightness and long-term reliability. These valves are suitable for high viscosity media of up to 600 mm2/s. This valve can be controlled through the use of a pilot valve or through central automation with a valve island. The valve can be fitted with accessories like electrical position feedback, manual override or stroke limitation.
