Description
Bürkert 2/2-way manual angle seat valve (type 2000) with G 3/4 inch female threaded ports. The valve has a brass housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 20 mm. Suitable for a media temperatures from -10 to 130°C (14 to 266°F) at a pressure of -0.9 to 16 bar (-13 to 224 psi). The valve is suitable for vacuum down to -0.9 bar (-13 psi) and has a Kv-value of 8.5 m3/h (Cv-value of 9.8 gpm). The brass housing is durable, suitable for neutral fluids and resistant to many chemicals. FKM has very good overall chemical resistance. It offers good mechanical properties, resistance to compression set, suitable for high temperatures (not for hot water/steam). Good resistance to oils and solvents such as aliphatic, aromatic and halocarbons, acids, animal and vegetable oils. Not resistant to methanol. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium.
Pros:
- Y-shape design allow for higher flow capacity and Kv value compared to vertical globe valves
- Easily mount a compact Burkert 8697 position feedback and control unit on the actuator (not included)
- Suitable for vacuum down to -0.9 bar (-13 psi)
- Versions that close against the flow direction are suited for liquids, steam and gasses
Cons:
- Type 2000 doesn't have a control cone, so it is not as suited to regulate flow rate as Burkert type 2702 or 2712
Series
The Bürkert Type 2000 manually-operated angle-seat valve is designed for On/Off function. The valve features a durable stainless steel or brass housing. The valve can handle fluids with viscosities up to 600mm2/s. The valve can operate in any flow direction, above or below the seat. Thanks to the stainless steel housing and PPS handwheel, the Burkert 2000 is designed to withstand harsh operating conditions. The valve is available with G or NPT threads, and weld ends. The maximum pressure depends on the version, but is limited to 6 bar. Overall, the Burkert Type 2000 offers reliable performance and durability, making it an excellent choice for a variety of industrial applications.
