Description
Bürkert 3/2-way pneumatic globe valve (type 2006) with G 3/4'' female threaded ports. The valve has a stainless steel housing with NBR seat seal and a 20 mm orifice. The valve is normally closed (NC), meaning the bottom port is closed when not actuated. Suitable for media temperatures from 0 to 80°C (32 to 176°F). The valve has a nominal pressure rating of PN 16 in accordance with DIN EN 1333. The stainless steel housing is durable, suitable for harsh and corrosive media and environments. The NBR sealing has good resistance to compression, tearing and wear. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The valve is pneumatically actuated with a CLASSIC actuator made of PA at a control pressure of to 10 bar (0 to 140 psi). The valve is suitable for ambient temperatures from -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F). This valve is suitable for vacuum down to -9 bar (- 13 psi).
Pros:
- Flow-optimized stainless steel body for harsh and corrosive media and environments
- An economic alternative to two shut-off valves
- The self-adjusting gland packing secures a high level of tightness
- Maintenance-free and long service life compared to other valve solutions
Series:
The Bürkert type 2006 3/2-way seat valve is designed to mix or distribute media. The CLASSIC pneumatic actuator is available in PA, or PPS for higher ambient temperatures. The valve body has been optimized for excellent flow properties and is equipped with a self-adjusting packing gland for added tightness and long-term reliability. These valves are suitable for high viscosity media of up to 600 mm2/s. This valve can be controlled through the use of a pilot valve or through central automation with a valve island. It can also be fitted with electrical position feedback as desired. In comparison to using two single shut-off valves, this compact 3-way valve is often a more cost-effective option.
