Switches at an adjustable point of about 22 to 38.6 l/min of rising water flow. The flow deflects the paddle; the contact switches back at a lower flow, so it does not chatter. Sliding the switch unit sets the point and selects normally open (factory setting) or normally closed. The reed contact outside the medium switches max. 40 VA: enough for a PLC (programmable logic controller) input; pumps need a relay. The stainless steel body with FKM seal is suitable for water, oils and coolants up to 40 bar (≈580 psi) and +110 °C (≈230 °F), in horizontal pipes. Replacement reed contact: M288B.
