Closes a normally open contact at an adjustable water flow of 0.8 to 3.2 l/min. The potential-free reed contact carries no voltage of its own, so it can be wired directly to a PLC (programmable logic controller) input. It switches max. 60 VA, about 0.26 A at 230 V AC; valve or relay coils cause high switch-on currents, so add a contact protection relay (not included). The float is calibrated for water and water-based liquids. The 1.4571 stainless steel body with female thread is rated to 350 bar (≈5080 psi) and +120 °C (≈248 °F).
