Reference: M286V
Brand: Tameson

Shows at a glance whether water is flowing, also at the lowest flow rates. There is no flow scale and no stated flow range: it only shows flow or no flow. The impeller turns inside a clear polycarbonate body and a built-in 70 to 130 µm filter catches dirt and is cleaned by back-flushing. This low-cost indicator is made for water and water-based liquids up to 1 bar (≈15 psi) and +55 °C (≈131 °F), with flow in one direction. For higher pressure or hot water up to +90 °C (≈194 °F), choose the brass version with a Pyrex glass window.

Pros:

  • Visible flow check without power supply
  • Built-in back-flushable filter
  • Low-cost, visible even at very low flow

Cons:

  • No flow value in l/min; for a reading, choose a variable area flow meter
  • Max. 1 bar and +55 °C; for higher pressure or temperature, choose the brass version
