The scale is calibrated for water; for oil, choose the oil version of this meter or a metal meter for oils from 30 to 600 cSt (centistokes). It has a G 1" male thread, is rated up to 16 bar (≈230 psi) and +120 °C (≈248 °F), and suits only lightly contaminated liquids.
