G2'' T-Bore 3-Way Pneumatic Ball Valve PVC Double Acting Full Bore
This 3-way ball valve is pneumatically actuated, featuring a 38 mm bore size. The valve has G 2 inch female threaded ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel). The valve body and the ball are made of PVC-U. The sealings are made of PTFE/EPDM. The valve is very suitable for contaminated water or corrosive media, such as chloride solutions (seawater or swimming pools). Besides that, the PVC-U body and PTFE/EPDM seals are suitable for salt solutions, diluted acids and bases, and polar solvents such as alcohols. They are not suitable for oils, fuels, or aromatic/chlorinated hydrocarbons - refer to the chemical resistance chart for specific media. The valve handles a maximum pressure of 10 bar at 20°C (145 psi at 68°F). The valve can be used within a temperature range from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F). The valve has a Kv value of 47 m3/h at a differential pressure of 1 bar (Cv = 54.33 gpm). Kv value expresses the flow rate of water in m3/h at a pressure drop of one bar.
The actuator features a robust, double-acting rack-and-pinion mechanism with a 35-micron hard-anodized aluminum body. The pneumatic input range is from 3 to 8 bar (43 to 116 psi). Additionally, it features a Namur 1/4 inch interface for solenoid valves and a 80 x 30 mm interface for VDI/VDE 3845 limit switch boxes. Comes unassembled, including ball valve (V3KJR), actuator (V3JKQ/PR04D), and mounting accessories.- Regular price

Pros:
- Direct mounting of 1/4 Namur solenoid valve possible
- Clear mechanical indicator on top shows the valve position
- Fast opening/closing
- Double-acting allows for greater control than single-acting actuators
- Can be equipped with a limit switch box (VDI/VDE 3845 80 x 30 mm)
- Lower initial investment cost than an electric version
Cons:
- Double-acting utilizes more compressed air than single-acting actuators
Bore and circuit function
The ball has a T-port. Rotating the ball 90 degrees allows you to switch between two circuits or connect all three pipes.

Tameson 3-Way PVC Ball Valves
The series includes reliable 3-way ball valves with a L-port or T-port. The valve body and the ball are made of PVC-U. The sealings are made of PTFE/EPDM. The valve is designed for contaminated water or corrosive media, such as chloride solutions (seawater or swimming pools). They are not suitable for oils, fuels, or aromatic/chlorinated hydrocarbons - refer to the chemical resistance chart for specific media. The valve handles a maximum pressure of 10 bar at 20°C (145 psi at 68°F). Suitable for temperatures between 0 and 60°C (32°F and 140°F). The ball valves have an ISO 5211 top flange (from F03 to max. F07) which makes the mounting of an actuator possible.
JP Fluid Control Pneumatic Actuators
JP Fluid Control Rack and Pinion pneumatic actuators are designed to operate quarterturn valves such as butterfly and ball valves, offering both on/off and modulating capabilities. Featuring a durable anodized aluminum housing, these actuators provide torque up to 900 Nm (664 ft-lbf) with a constant torque characteristic across the swivel range. Engineered for precision and longevity, they have a service life of 500,000 cycles, ensuring dependable and secure valve control. After assembly, each actuator undergoes rigorous testing on a fully automated test bench, making them suitable for a broad range of industrial applications.
