Description
DALI Gateway Plus for KNX and DRA Plus. The features include compatibility with DALI and DALI-2 standard. The DALI Gateway Plus forms the interface between a KNX installation and a digital DALI lighting system. It controls a maximum of 64 DALI operating devices as individual control, group control in maximum 32 groups, or central control via a broadcast telegram. Manual actuation of the devices is also independent of the bus.
The energy-saving function allows switch-off of the power supply of the DALI operating devices possible in a switched-off state. Sixteen light scenes are available, and the groups can be integrated into the light scenes. Effect control can be configured for a maximum of 16 sequences in one to 500 run-throughs.
Feedback of DALI error status or short circuit and signalling of power supply failure are available. Active or passive cyclical feedback function is supported. Group feedback of all switching conditions is possible, and feedback can be delayed until after the recovery of bus voltage.
Switching and brightness value have active or passive feedback functions. The brightness range can be set, and bulb-saving switch-on and switch-off are supported. The dimming behaviour can be parameterised. Time functions, block function, and forced setting function can be parameterised for each group. The DALI device state can be read out via KNX.
An elapsed operating time meter is available as a forward and backward counter with limit value evaluation. You can configure the DALI devices online or offline using the ETS plug-in. The replacement of an individual defective DALI device is possible during operation without ETS.
The device is suitable for operation in emergency lighting systems. It can control and monitor individual-battery and centrally-supplied DALI emergency lighting systems. DALI emergency light converters are supported in accordance with EN 62386-202: Function test, continuous operation test, limited continuous operation test, query of the battery charge.
DALI-2 support is available from index status I06 and higher. The user or professional planner should ensure that the specific guidelines are observed for the operation of emergency lighting systems. The device has VDE approval in accordance with EN 60669-1, EN 60669-2-1. Configuration and start-up of the device are possible from ETS 4.1 or with ETS 3 from version d.
