This Sensotec from Gira is an active motion detector. The motion detector is suitable for automatic dimmed switching (0 to 100 %) of room lighting depending on movements far away and ambient brightness. A movement close by switches on the room lighting undimmed, for this a small hand movement is enough. This makes light switching very comfortable and easy, especially for people with physical limitations. Both the sensitivity of remote detection and the turn-on intensity of the room lighting are adjustable.

Description
Sensotec System 55, without remote control. This gadget is available in pure white glossy color. The Sensotec system utilizes the Doppler effect for detection, similar to traffic speed measurement. This allows it to detect motion even through non-shielding materials. For example, a single Sensotec can cover sanitary facilities entirely.

- Detection in both close-up and long-range, which depends on the reflecting surface, speed, and type of the object such as a person, an animal, or any other object.
