This dimmer 2873 from Hager Berker is suitable for switching and dimming incandescent lamps, HV halogen lamps, dimmable inductive transformers for halogen or LED lamps, dimmable HV-LED or compact fluorescent lamps. The dimmer has a potentiometer at the top right to set the minimum brightness of the light source. This means that the potentiometer can be readjusted when the lamp is cutting in the dimmed state. This allows good dimming of dimmable LED and energy-saving lamps within the range of 20 - 80%. This prevents flickering or premature lamp failure.
