It has a total length of 1025mm with an extendable handle and a submersion depth of 150mm. The maximum head load it can withstand is 17kg. It features a T pin shaft operating head complete with a bayonet locking mechanism and pressure spring. The stick is equipped to function as a switching stick and operating stick when coupled with a SSK SQ switching stick head. Furthermore, it can also be used for inserting insulating protective shutters or as an earthing stick. The end fitting includes an anti-rotation plastic plug-in coupling for extending the handle.
