Loctite thread sealant with a maximum temperature of 150 °C. It is used to seal threaded connections within a system. It replaces traditional PTFE tape or hemp fiber. Thread sealants are chemicals that cure anaerobically and expand in the holes between the thread of the connection, filling the gaps. It is a medium strength adhesive which means that it is possible to release. Due to the brown color it is easy to remember and label the adhesive used per connection, contributing to an easy way of working. This specific adhesive is suitable for metal surface(s) and normal pressures with a maximum thread size of 3/4".
