Description
The Cat.6, Class EA RJ45 plug can be put together in the field and is fully shielded, allowing for multi-port capability. It comes with a straight (180°) cable feed, and can be easily assembled without the need for special tools. The plug is designed to work with stranded wire AWG 27/7 to 22/7, accepting wire diameters ranging from 0.46 to 0.76 mm. However, for a solid wire AWG 26/1 to 22/1, the wire diameter should be from 0.4 to 0.64 mm.
Compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06 and class E, A to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06, DIN EN 50173-1:2011-09 ensures the transmission characteristics of Cat.6, A. These plugs are suitable for 10 GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an), Remote Powering (PoE, PoE plus, UPoE and 4PPoE) and HDBaseT applications.
With an IP20 rating, they offer a degree of protection and can accommodate cable jacket diameters from 5.5 to 10.5 mm. The housing, intended for industrial use, is made of zinc die-cast and consists of just two parts. Strain relief is ensured by a latching clip directly on the stuffer cap. This comes with a protected locking hook and allows for reconnection.
