Description
This is a Cat.5 class D RJ45 plug, containing 2 pairs that can be assembled in the field. It is fully shielded and can handle multiple ports. The plug has a variable (360°) cable feed which can be freely chosen and is easy to assemble. Notably, no special tools are needed for the connection. The wire connection is compatible with stranded wire AWG 27/7 to 22/7, with a wire diameter ranging from 0.46 to 0.76 mm. Additionally, the wire connection also works with solid wire AWG 26/1 to 22/1, with a wire diameter from 0.4 to 0.64 mm.
The plug offers transmission characteristics Cat.5 per ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06 and is compliant with class D to ISO/IEC 11801, Ed.2.2:2011-06, DIN EN 50173-1:2011-09. It is suitable for 100 MBit according to IEEE 802.3 and can be used for Remote Powering (PoE and PoE plus) as well as HDBaseT.
Furthermore, its degree of protection is IP20 and it fits a cable jacket from 5.5 to 10.5 mm. The plug comes with a zinc die-cast housing for industrial use and a strain relief by latching clip directly on the stuffer cap. It also features a protected locking hook and has the ability to be reconnected.
