G1/2'' Flat Seal PTFE for Pressure Gauge [5 Pieces]
This PTFE sealing ring is used between a pressure gauge and mating surface to prevent leakage. Designed for G 1/2 inch male connection point located below or in the rear of the pressure gauge. Seal has an internal diameter of 6.2 mm and an outer diameter of 17.5 mm. It is a flat seal. Profile seal is recommended as it can rotate the gauge.

Description
This PTFE sealing ring is typically used as a mechanical seal between a pressure gauge and mating surface to prevent leakage. They are often times considered gaskets. It is meant for connection sizes of G 1/2 inch. It has an internal diameter of 6.2 mm, outer diameter of 17.5 mm, and a height of 0,5 mm. It is a flat seal, meaning the pressure gauge cannot be rotated for correct orientation of the readout (profile seal is recommended as it can rotate the gauge).
Pros:
- Allows for a proper seal between the pressure gauge and mounting surface
Cons:
- Can only be used once and when uninstalled it requires a new seal to be used to ensure proper sealage
- Generally not able to rotate pressure gauge for correct orientation of readout
ML-S series
The ML-S seal series it ideally used as a mechanical seal (gasket) between a pressure gauge and the mating surface to prevent any leakage. Designed for G 1/4, G 3/8, or G 1/2 inch connections. Profile seals (internally or externally centered) or flat seals are available. Profile seals are recommended to allow for extra rotation for proper gauge readout orientation.
