This is a 2-way shut-off hand valve used for open/close control of the air flow.

It has a male threaded R 1/2 inch inlet port and a 3/8 inch push-in fitting outlet port.

It is suitable for a maximum operating pressure of 9 bar (130.5 psi. Also suitable for vacuum applications at a pressure of -1 bar (-14.5 psi). It has NBR seals that make it suitable for applications within a temperature range from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140 °F) (no freezing).

Use a quarter-turn handle to open or close the valve. Make sure to turn it completely to avoid damaging the valve.

Pros:

  • Simple design
  • Suitable for vacuum applications
  • Sealant coating provides a secured sealed connection with an actuator

Cons:

  • Dust could damage the pneumatic system if vacuum is applied without a filter on the inlet side

HV2 series

The HV - series includes two- and three-directional shut-off hand valves used for open/close control of the air flow. Two-directional valves keep the residual pressure within the system. The three-directional valves have an opening between the body and the handle cap which allows residual pressure relief after closing. These valves can be equipped with push-in and threaded ports which can be selected in 4 different combinations. The push-in fitting sizes range from 6 to 12 mm and from 1/4 to 3/8 while the threaded port sizes range from R1/8 to R1/2 inch. The valves are suitable for a maximum operating pressure of 9 bar and a vacuum of -1 bar. They are suitable for temperature range from 0 to 60°C (no freezing) thanks to the NBR sealing. The housing is made of PBT while the threaded ports and the spool are made of nickel-plated brass.
