Description
The green spider is the hardest of the three, for the highest torque and a torsionally stiff connection. The spider must match the coupling size: this one fits ROTEX hubs of size 24 only. Replace a worn spider without changing the hubs. The coupling hubs are not part of this item.

Series:
KTR ROTEX spiders, the elastomer inserts of ROTEX jaw couplings, in sizes 14 to 75 with outer diameters from 30 to 160 mm. The spider sits between the two coupling hubs and transmits the torque from one shaft to the other. Three hardnesses are available, all in T-PUR for -50 to +120 °C: orange 92 Shore A (standard type, previously yellow), violet 98 Shore A (previously red) and green 64 Shore D (previously white). Harder spiders transmit more torque and are stiffer, softer spiders damp vibrations better. Each spider fits the hubs of its own size only. The coupling hubs are not included.
