Description
This 2-way ball valve from Tameson with a nominal diameter of 10 mm is designed for on/off flow control.
The valve has Rp 3/8 inch threaded ports. This is BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper). With our range of 3/8 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe.
The housing of the valve is made of stainless steel, the ball is made of stainless steel and the seals are made of PTFE. The valve is suitable for oxygen (industrial) up to a maximum pressure of 20 bar (290 psi) and vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi). The valve can be used within a temperature range from -20 to 150 °C (-4 to 302 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. The valve has a flange according to the ISO 5211 F03 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation.
