This dimmer from Schneider Electric Merten is suitable for switching and dimming incandescent lamps, 230V halogen lamps, low-voltage halogen lamps with dimmable wound transformer (inductive load), low-voltage halogen lamps with electronic transformer (capacitive load) and dimmable LED lamps. In addition, the dimmer recognizes the connected load and dims it with the appropriate dimming principle, with phase cut or phase cut. It is also possible to set the dimming principle manually.

Description
Universal swivel dimmer insert for LED lamps. Suitable for resistive, inductive or capacitive loads, for example, dimmable LED lamps, incandescent lamps, dimmable winding transformers or electronic transformers.
This universal dimmer automatically recognises the connected load. Do not connect mixed types of loads.
This base can be combined with a dimmer knob. Equipped with a claw and screw fastening, the connection is made via screw terminals and the nominal voltage is 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
Switching capacity:
- LED lamps: 4-200 VA (RC-mode). 4-40 VA (RL-LED-mode).
- Incandescent lamps: 4-400 W.
- Suitable for halogen lamps: 4-400 W (230 V). 4-400 VA (LV with dimmable winding transformer). 4-400 VA (LV with dimmable electronic transformer).
A neutral wire is not required. Easy to connect via screw terminals with a maximum diameter of 2.5mm². This product can be connected to a regular power circuit equipped with a 16A circuit breaker. Resistant to short circuit, overload and overheating and equipped with a soft start.
Equipped with automatic load detection and simple min/max. settings. The type of load can be manually adjusted (RL-LED-mode).
