This vacuum generator (also known as vacuum ejector) is designed to generate a vacuum level that is required for pick and place applications of objects and works based on the Venturi effect. The compressed air pressure range is 1 to 7 bar (14.5 to 101.5 psi), but the optimal pressure is 4 bar (58 psi). At this pressure, the maximum vacuum level is 87% and the air consumption is 16 l/min (0.96 m3/h, 0.56 scfm). The vacuum rate decreases with increasing vacuum levels and is maximally 28 l/min (1.68 m3/h, 0.98 scfm). The evacuation time 1 l to 70% vacuum is 12.8 s. This vacuum ejector has three connection ports: a G 1/8 inch supply port, a G 1/8 inch vacuum port and a G 1/8 inch exhaust port. It's made from aluminum. Suitable for a temperature range of -20 °C to 100 °C (-4 °F to 212 °F).

VEL-M series

The VEL-M series generators are multi-stage vacuum ejectors. The ejectors from this series can a generate vacuum of up to 90%. Depending on the vacuum level, the vacuum rate varies from 28 to 9600 l/min (1.68 to 576 m3/h), 0.98-336 scfm and the evacuation time ranges from 0.044-18 s. The air consumption range is from 16 to 2880 l/min (0.96-172.8 m3/h, 0.56-6.05 scfm). They have three ports one for air supply, second for suction and third for exhaust. A wide range of port sizes is available.
