Description
Specifications

This Bürkert 2/2-way (type 3323) electric diaphragm valve is designed for on/off applications. This valve has clamp DN 40 ports. The valve has a stainless steel housing with a PTFE/EPDM diaphragm. The current valve's position is blocked upon power lose, not equipped with energy storage unit. For media temperatures ranging from -10 to 130°C (14 to 266°F) at a pressure of 0 to 2.5 bar (0 to 35 psi). The valve has a Kv-value of 35 m3/h (Cv-value of 40.5 gpm). The stainless steel housing is durable, suitable for corrosive media and harsh environments. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The valve takes 4 s to go from fully open to fully closed position. The actuator uses a büs communications protocol.

Pros:

  • Adjustable driving force protects the diaphragm and prolongs the service life
  • Diagnostic functions possible thanks to the fieldbus connection
  • High IP protection IP65/67 ensures adequate splash protection

Series

The Bürkert type 3323, externally controlled diaphragm valves, are composed of an electrically controlled linear actuator, a diaphragm, and a two-way valve housing. The recirculating ball screw allows the electric actuator to work in clean or harsh environments. The valve housings are designed to allow high flow rates and versatile applications without any dead spaces. The position is displayed by a LED light ring that covers 360°. The actuator has a feature to adjust the drive force and protect the diaphragm. The actuator is splash-proof with high IP protection of IP65/IP67. electric actuators move the diaphragm valves with ball screws at high speeds of up to 6 mm/s. Some of the type 3323 valves are suitable for applications with food, oxygen and have explosion proof ATEX, IECEx and UL certificates.
