This is a Belimo 3-way ball valve with a nickel-plated brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 20 and the port size is Rp 3/4 inch with female threads. The maximum pressure differential is 3.5 bar (50.8 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 11 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 12.73 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator supports BACnet MSTP/Modbus RTU/MP-Bus communication protocols and requires product ZTH EU for setting the protocol address and linking the actuator to the system. Furthermore, ZTH EU allows the setting of an analog 0-10V or 2-10V control signal. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 90 seconds. The actuator has an IP54 rating. The actuator is equipped with a fail-safe (NC) feature that ensures safe operation in the event of a power failure.

The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. The valve can be manually operated and secured in any position using a hand crank. Unlocking can be done manually or automatically by applying the operating voltage. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The actuator moves the valve to the operating position while also tensioning the return spring. The valve returns to the fail-safe position by spring force when the supply voltage is interrupted. The actuator comes with an inbuilt interface for BACnet MSTP, Modbus RTU, and MP-Bus. It obtains the digital control signal from the control system and provides the present status. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops.
