Solenoid Valve 3/2 NC G1/4'' Brass FKM 0-10bar/145psi 24VAC/DC ATEX 6014 351992
Burkert 3/2 way solenoid valve (type 6014) with G 1/4 inch threads and a 24 V AC/DC coil. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed (voltage = open). The valve is direct operating, so no differential pressure required. Suitable for max media temperatures of 120 °C (248 °F) and a pressure range of 0 - 10 bar (145 psi). Housing of brass with FKM sealing and a 2 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 0.11 m3/h (1.83 l/min at dp = 1 bar water). This solenoid valve is ATEX and IECEx certified.
Note: DIN connector not included.

Description
This is a Burkert direct operating 3/2 way solenoid valve with G 1/4 inch threads and a 24 V AC/DC coil. The valve has a brass housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 2 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. When the valve is closed, the output port connects to a third exhaust port. As it is direct operating, no pressure differential over the valve is needed to open the valve. Suitable for a pressure of 0 - 10 bar (145 psi) and a maximum temperature of 120 °C (248 °F). The valve has a Kv-value of 0.11 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 2 l/min at a differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). In imperial units: Cv = 0, which means 0 GPM @ 1 psi pressure drop. For many applications it is enough to select a valve based on the thread size and orifice diameter. For more accurate sizing, use the Kv-value with our easy to use valve sizing calculator. The brass housing is durable, suitable for neutral fluids and resistant to many chemicals. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. Thanks to the ATEX and IECEx certification, this solenoid valve is suited for explosive environments. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.
Pros:
- ATEX-certified
- Good protection against the environment thanks to the IP65 rating
- Solenoid valves open and close very fast compared to many other valve types
- Compact valve design
Cons:
- Solenoid valves are very sensitive to dirt and can only be used with clean liquids and gases
- The coil may get hot when energized. A well ventilated environment is recommended
Series:
The Bürkert 6014 valve is a compact, direct-acting plunger valve that offers excellent leak-tightness and pressure resistance thanks to its welded stopper and plunger guide tube. This valve is suitable for a variety of applications, with multiple seal material options available. The optional Bürkert special flange design (SFB) allows for an efficient manifold arrangement with this valve. This valve features a vibration-proof, bolted coil system, and its banjo-threaded connection enables direct attachment to pneumatic valves. Explosion-proof versions of the valve are available, and an energy-saving version with Kick and Drop coils can help reduce electrical power consumption during operation. The valves have an orifice diameter of up to DN 2.5.
