“The Tameson parts we use complement our equipment. We use the motorized actuated valves in our more high-end products. They are used as an automatic drain valve to let the water out of the machine at the end of the cycle. Because of the motorized actuated valves, our customers don’t have to drain the tank manually. It’s automatically done, powered by the control panel. We are satisfied with the high quality of the valves. I get to know if we experience trouble with parts and we don’t tend to have any issues with the Tameson valves.”

High quality, reasonable price, high speed
IWM has used valves by other manufacturers, but they weren’t as high quality as the Tameson ones. Carl Hollier: “We need reliability in our products. Our equipment gets installed in very wet industrial areas and sometimes with high pressure. Some of the electrical components can get damaged. And we don’t want any water damage for our customers because of leaks. That’s why we went with Tameson valves. They are very easy to install. Most of all, the speed of the Tameson actuators is better for our application. Some of the valves we used in the past would take up to 30 seconds to open or close. Tameson valves only take about 8 seconds. The price is also very reasonable and they have good delivery times. Not that we work just-in-time, because our products take about 3 to 6 months to build. It’s more that we don’t want to have issues with spare parts. Quick delivery is always good.“
