Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Deep groove ball bearings are suitable for high rotational speeds because they have low friction and are optimized for low noise and low vibrations. Bearings of this type can accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions, are relatively easy to install, and require less maintenance than other types of bearings.
The deep groove ball bearings are available in three different versions:
- Open (default)
- Closed with metal seals on both sides (2Z version)
- Closed with rubber seals on both sides (2RS version)
The two closed versions are pre-lubricated with a high quality grease, while open ball bearings have to be lubricated externally. The 2Z version creates less friction than the 2RS, but it has worse sealing capabilities.
