Description
Specifications

ACE side load adapter with M 20x1,5 thread, compatible with ACE shock absorbers MC 225.... Fits onto the piston rod end and transfers lateral forces into the housing so the rod itself sees only axial load. Used on swinging arms, indexing tables, and linear systems where the impacting mass cannot strike the absorber on-axis.

Pros:

  • Removes lateral load from the M 20x1,5 piston rod, extending absorber life
  • Self-aligning head accommodates off-axis impacts on MC 225...
  • Mandatory wherever the moving mass cannot strike the absorber on-axis

Cons:

  • Not combinable with an impact head; choose one accessory
  • Adds installation length and changes the absorber's effective reach
  • Finite swing-angle; outside that range a different adapter is needed
