This G 2-1/2" BSP female globe valve provides reliable manual flow control via a handwheel. The stainless steel 316 body with PTFE spindle seal and metal seating handles liquids, gases, air, heating and hydraulic oils, fuels, and chemicals. The metal seat ensures a durable, reliable shutoff unaffected by thermal cycling or aggressive media. Assembly uses only silicone-free seals and lubricants; safe for paint lines and silicone-sensitive processes. Rated to 16 bar at 20 °C, temperature range -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F). The pressure rating decreases at elevated temperatures.

Pros:

  • Ergonomic handwheel; slow closing prevents water hammer.
  • Stainless steel 316 body; corrosion resistant and compatible with a wide range of media.
  • Metal seat; durable shutoff unaffected by aggressive media or thermal cycling.
  • PTFE spindle seal; chemically resistant across the full working temperature range.
  • Silicone-free assembly; safe for paint systems and silicone-sensitive processes.

Cons:

  • Not suitable for flow regulation; for throttling, use a needle or control valve.
