G2-1/2'' 24-240V AC/DC Modulating 2-Way Brass Ball valve

This modulating electrical actuator is offered in combination with a 2-way ball valve. It can turn the valve from 0-90 degrees in 13 seconds with an operating torque of 55 Nm (higher break torque so please see the manual). It requires a supply voltage of 24-240 V AC/DC, has a duty cycle of 75%, and comes with a visual positioning indicator on top of the unit to clearly see valve position. As a modulating actuator, it is equipped with a digital positioning system (DPS) meaning it can position the valve anywhere between 0-90 degrees. It requires a control signal of 4-20 mA/0-10 V for positioning. As standard, it does have a manual operation cogwheel for manually turning the valve if needed. The actuator is mounted on the ball valve via the ISO 5211 F05 or F07 flange (14 mm). The 2-way brass valve has two connection points of G2 1/2". The medium flows through a 65 mm bore (Kv value of 450 m3/h) and the temperature can be between -20 – 120 °C under 30 bars. It has a spindle seal material of PTFE. With the actuator’s durable polyamide (PA) housing, it gives the unit a protection of IP67 for an environment temperature of -20 till 70 °C. J4C series

BL2BA Ball valve

The BL2BA series ball valves are reliable 2-way ball valves with a brass housing. The ball is made of hard chromed brass and the valve seats are made of PTFE/FKM. The valve is suitable for various media, such as water, oil or air up to a maximum of 20 - 40 bar depending on the diameter size (G 1/4" - G 4"). Suitable for temperatures between -20 and 160 degrees Celsius. For corrosive or aggresive media, a valve made of PVC or stainless steel is better suited. Ball valves from the BL2BA series all have an ISO 5211 top flange (from F03 to max. F07) which makes the mounting of an actuator possible.

J4C Actuator

The J4C high voltage electric valve actuators from manufacturer J+J offers an impressive list of standard features that include protection against damage from over-torque or condensation. Actuators are also available with different options like fail-safe BSR (Battery Safety Return) or modulating called DPS (Digital Positioning System). The series has an operating torque range between 20-300 Nm.
The J4C fail-safe or modulating electric actuator is the same as the standard on-off J4C actuator but a BSR and/or a DPS kit is added inside the actuator. The J4C BSR fail-safe actuator can be set to fail open or fail closed. The J4C DPS modulating actuator can be controlled with 4-20 mA or 0-10 V (0-10 V on request).
