G 1/2 inch Vented Stainless Steel Ball Valve
Vented stainless steel ball valve with G 1/2 inch threaded ports. In closed position it vents the outlet port through an M 5 hole. The main valve bore is 15 mm and the maximum pressure is 16 bar or 232 psi. The valve is suitable for air, water and vacuum (max. -0.98 bar or -14 psi). Temperature range is from -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F). Stainless steel housing and ball and PTFE sealings.

Description
This is a vented stainless steel ball valve designed for depressurization of the compressed air system. When closed, the valve depressurizes the piping system through an M 5 venting borehole. The valve bore is 15 mm.
The valve has G 1/2 inch threaded ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel). With our wide range of 1/2 inch fittings, you can connect it to any piping system.
The housing ad the ball of the valve are made of stainless steel and the sealings are made of PTFE. The valve is suitable for air and water up to a maximum pressure of 16 bar or 232 psi, and vacuum (max. -0.98 bar or -14 psi). The valve can be used within a temperature range from -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the inlet port is closed and the outlet port is vented to the environment. This valve is not suitable for electrical or pneumatic control. For this purpose, valves with an ISO-Top flange (ISO 5211) are recommended.
Pros:
- Suitable for vacuum
- Wide operating pressure range thanks to the stainless steel 1.4408 material
- Ideal for depressurization of compressed air systems
- Provides safer working environment by depressurizing machines and tools
Cons:
- Suitable only for manual operation
BL3SH-MVT series
Our BL3SH-MVT vented stainless steel ball valve series ranges from 1/4 to 2 inch threaded ports. It includes valves designed with a borehole for depressurization of compressed air systems. The housing and the ball are made of stainless steel and the sealings are PTFE. The operating pressure is up to 16 bar or 232 psi, with possibility of vacuum applications with a minimum pressure of -0.98 bar or -14 psi. The valve can be used within a temperature range from -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F). The valves are handle operated.
